One says hate him
The other says don't
Which one do I listen to?
One says "He hurt you; you have every right to hurt him back."
The other says "It's not right, he doesn't deserve it."
One says "It's his fault. Make him pay, make him pay for your suffering"
The other says "It won't do you any good. You'll just hurt yourself more."
Which one do I listen to?
Both of them yell
Both of them scream
I can't choose,
I can't choose
Please don't make me choose
Which one's right?
Which one's wrong?
I can't tell
One says yes
The other says no
One says hurt him, beat him, make him bleed, make him suffer.
And eye for an eye
The other says stop, you can't do this, it's not right. No one, including you deserves this.
I hate him too, but hurting him won't make you better, stronger happier.
Hurting him won't undo the damage done
They yell and they scream at me
I CAN'T CHOOSE!
They both hate him…
This is their problem, not mine…
They suffered …
not me….
They were hurt…
Not me…
But yet…
I'm still the one to pull the trigger
And I ended it
for good…
Just a poem I wrote to get my feelings out.

I actually have no idea the real meaning of it, though I came up with possibilities.

1. The narrator is choosing wether to hurt or kill a man which has done her wrong. The "one" and the "other" are both sides of her conciousness, though as the poem reaches an end you see the "good side" of her mind turning bad as well. She then makes up her mind and kills the man possibly with a gun.

2.The narrator is being haunted by two voices inside her mind. Each of them telling her to do something because of a man who presumingly (in this case) raped or hurt her. She can't choose and possibly goes crazy from them and ends up shooting herself, "ended it for good" as the poem says, ending her pain and suffering from going mad.

3. Three people are in a situation in which one of them is about to shoot a man. Two of them try to convince the narrator to do what they want. The narrator can't take it anymore, all of their yelling at her, so she "ended it" possibly by shooting the two other people instead of the man.

4. The narrator is obviously hurt by a man she used to love, but he broke her heart. Her conciousness is torn in two and deciding wether she should make him pay in any way possible. She ends up deciding that she can't hurt him because she still loves him and ends up commiting suicide with a gun, so she doesn't have to hurt him.
